Hey all,

New to the forum here. Lots of great info from what I've read so far. I'm just looking to buy a civic and it seems impossible to find them with lower km. I'm in Ottawa, Canada and looking to spend around $3000. I found this one CX H/B but it's got 275000km on it. Just wanted some advice. It's original owner, clutch was just replaced less than 5000km ago, and fairly well maintained through the years. Worth buying or am I going to run into more problems now with such high km than what the car is worth?

I'm not too good with the market, as i've recently asked about the civic market with our fellow HCFers.
But if you can, try to stay down low with the mileage. Civics are known for having lots of mileage, yes.
However personally, i wouldnt want a high mileage car. If it's in great shape, why not though

 

I have 300,000+ and she still runs strong, i need to replace the distributor cap and rotor, but other then that she is good

 

Get it and just swap the engine out for a d16z6, that is if you have problems with it.
