i just bought a 1994 Civic CX hatchback not out of desire but i need a car quick and found it. i know hondas are known for havin tons of bolt ons for power and performance but im at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to selection. id like to get an engine and trans out of an EX and swap them for my underpowered top end machine. the thing is that i dont know if the EX motor would just bolt up to the old mounts and will everything else bolt up and plug in without doin any major modifications to my car? someone please help!!! i have the means to get done to my car what i need to do t make it fast and be head turning. all i need to know is if an engine swap on this car os possible??????

 

THe EX motor will bolt in but I think you may be dissapointed in the power you get for the time an money. Do some searching around here for Mini me and you may be interested in that. Also a B16 or B18 will also bolt in using stock Honda B seriets mounts, no welding required.
