I have a 92 civic hatch back and I hit a deer and had to replace the hood and the fender. Now between the hood and front bumper I have a 2 inch gap. Was woundering what the difference was between the hatch and 4dr model hoods? Just want to see if maybe I have the wrong one. Also if someone could get me the measurments of the 2 different hoods. Any more info would be great.

i dont know for sure but i know a 4dr. is longer than a hatch, so that very well could be the problem becuase i dont think the hoods on civics are really adjustable.

If you got a 4-door hood, you got the wrong one. Sedans have a different front end than the coupes/hatchbacks.

 

Not sure what hood I have that is my question I dont have a part number on the hood or the sales slip anymore. Thats what I'm trying to igure ou is if someone noes the exact difference between the two or if someone can get me the measurments of either hood or both so I compare it to what I have.
