Clutch cable or not?

Default Clutch cable or not?

Well I cant drive my car because I cant shift. I have had 2 mechanics tell me its the clutch cable. SO would this be a clutch cable?

I dunno but that looks like it is some sort of cover for the cable. just my 2 cents but i dont know.

As Solid_Snake said, the auction identifies the part as a hydraulic line. You don't mention what year model your car is? If it's got a clutch "cable" then you don't need any hydraulic lines. If your car does have a hydraulic clutch system and you've got two mechanics telling you that you need a "cable," I'd RUN, not walk away from those guys as "fast" as I can!

Look under the hood and check to the left of the brake master cylinder. If you see a second master cylinder, smaller and a bit lower than the brake, then you've got a hydraulic clutch system. If not, then you may well need a clutch cable.
