cable and hydrualic clutch ?

recently i bought a zcmotor, a new tranny with a new stage 2 clutch as a package deal. problem is the trans is a cable clutch. and my car is a 92 hatch with a hydraulic clutch. i put the cluth im my hydraulic trans and it isnt engaging after i was told itd go rite in no prob. do i need to change the pressure plate? or a whole new clutch assembly? thank u for any help.

I'm not sure on the ZC's because they're somewhat different, but I know that all 1990-2000 d-series clutches are the same, you just need the throwout bearing for whatever transmission you have. I used my stock Civic clutch and pressure plate in my CRX with a new CRX throwout bearing and it worked just fine
