If I was going to drop $600 on a motor, I would replace pistons and rings first. You can pick up pistons/rods/rings for a little over $600. If you can't do your own labor, that is going to kill you. I think you will make much better power with a piston/rod upgrade than with a cam and valve spring upgrade.

get your camshaft after you turbo the car. N/A cams and turbo cams are different, so your car won't be running to its full potential if you have a N/A cam in a turboed car.
