I just taught my friend how to drive a 5-speed manual in his new RSX. I drove his new car home for him and then had to take him out and learn how to drive it.

RSX's are damm sexy but a little too civilized for my tastes.

but I digress...

 

I won't make fun of you for driving an auto. I'll just make fun of you for saying "stick shift is hard as a ****"

as long as you have two hands and two feet, it's not difficult...

 

i wont make fun of you for driving an auto either. my g/f can drive my car and its a stick. lol it just takes practice.

 

"Betsy", my '91 Accord was a stick. Fun, but not easy. My wife is very inexperienced, and would focus on my ocassional mis-shift. So when the time came, we got the auto (its her car, too). But you can adjust, with the '06 5-speed, shifting down to 3rd is a click away, and can compensate for the lag in acceleration autos can have, especially on twisty roads. Some say the Honda auto trans can be delicate, but we shall see. Gas milage has been great.

4500mis, and the car has been flawless.

i tried stick stift .... it was pretty damd hard. i was practicing on a 94 jetta. it either stalled or rolled back way too far.

 

my sister can drive a stick, autos are too much like go carts. Anyway I think you should try again and learn a stick, its a lot more fun to drive

 

hah i prefer to drive an auto everyday..........granted i love my 5spd but auto is so much nicer, give it gas and go nothing else. tell those guys who are hating to go take one of my cars with a puck type unsprung clutch and live in LA for a year with it. they might just change there mind about there statment.

 

5 speed+ Traffic+hills= Major PITA. Otherwis I love my 5 speed. I go crazy driving an automatic, to boring.
