hey im joe and i have a question im about to buy a d16 motor for my 88 civic hatch and it has a SOHC head on it but its got a bent valve so the guy bought a DOHC head for it and i need to know if it will work in my car and will the factory harness work for the motor or do i need to change everything so please help me and let me know asapok ty

 

only if it is a zc head and also do you have dpfi or mpfi????????

 

the motor its mpfi ok so i need to know because ive never done this stuff before ok so plz help

 

if its a zc head which i doubt it is....... is the only dohc head you can put on a sohc block
get any d15 or d16 head will fit(sohc).

 

the block is a d16a1 out of an 89 integra will the block bolt up in the car without modification and if so please let me know

 

it will bolt up... i think you will only have to just put your driverside motor mount on it

 

welli just want to make sure because everybody else online is saying it will not bolt up in my car so i need to know asap
