:P hello this question is for who ever is rockin a d16y8 and for who ever has rocked one before. im curious about how much miles my civic should be making on a gas tank. My brother says its not making enough because his used to make close to 300 (he had the d16y7). , i believe that my gas tank is some where around 11 gallons. and i make 170 to 190 on a tank. usually lasts me 2 weeks. So i am curious to see how much you guys make on a gas tank, and state if you use the highway more often than city roads.

oh and i do like to occasionally punch it on a open road.

 

i think d16y8 average MPG is like 30-35 .

 

yea for some reason i just dont feel like im getting that lol

 

do a complete tune up

plugs, wires, cap, rotor, spark plugs(check gap on new ones), fuel filter, trans fluid, pcv valve


i asked 94chb the same question and thats what he told me.. i have it saved so i copyed and pasted haha.

 

thanks man ill have to go do that. plus i think its about time to change the tranny fluid, next thing scheduled on the window said at 100k and im right about there.

 

On my Ex I get like 25-30ish I think and it is all city driving, never really look at the odometer and calculate how much I get. I don't drive with fuel efficiancy in mind though... have to have some fun.
