Default DC Sports headers and Calipers ready ((UPDATE))

HeyPeople I just got my DC header. I wanted to powder Coat them blue to match my engine bay and I guess you can do it. It will melt they told me already I need something else that can take that HEAT. They told me a need some kind of paint called Jet Paint or something like that.... it's more heat resistant than powder coating for headers..You guys think that High temp paint they sell at Auto Zone will work If use like 2 cans so it won't burned off that quickly. I will go to this place and ask for that paint job(Jet Paint). If it's too expensive I'll go with those spray paintcans

Any help will be helpful. I can't do it Blue more likely I will do it black or silver..

No problem.I was looking on that site recently and bookmarked it for later. I remembered that I saw something on there like what you were looking for.

I don't know if they'll have it at auto zone... I'm pretty sure that at my local advance auto parts doesn't have any VHT stuff

btw, i'm diggin that blue you got going on in that engine bay, itlooks good

you should try a heat wrap and they make a coating that you can spray on it tha will protect it and it comes in colors iim not sure if it will come in blue but i used the black and it looks nice and helps with keeping your engine bay cool. also i did use the ceramic spray and it worked great for my valve cover.

500 degree heat paint will burn right off.LOL burned right off the top part of my stock header i painted...LOL

but DEFINATLY TRY THAT "VHT" stuff thier taillight tint stuff KICKS @SS so i depfinatly have respect for that product!!!!!!
i wouldnt have a problem buying thier stuff.... just do yourself a favor and buy several cans.... cause it has to be shiped hazardous which of course costs more money.... so buy afew cans or afew other different things all at once... even if you dont think youll need it... its a good backup... or help a friend out or some admires that love what youve done and want the same done.... hell ya might even make afew bucks....

A also picked up a paint kitform Auto Zone to do my calipers this weekend..Blue calipers...Dupli-color Caliper Paint kit.
