its a 98 civic witha salvage title and "light" front damage for $1700. you know just as much about this car as i do...(nothing) i wanna know what you think if this would be a dencent deal before i drive the two hours to look at it. i wanna trade my 95 4dr for it.

i personally wouldnt buy a car that was salvaged. I almost bought an integra, the owner didnt tell me the title is salvaged until i saw the title. I backed out of the loan and didnt buy the car. Just take your time and buy a nice car that doesnt need alot of work or if none at all.

 

Looks like fairly major damage. Probably hit hard enough to fire the air bags, which are expensive to replace. That's why it is totaled. Only in a few states is it legal to drive such a car without replacing the air bags.

 

Look no matter how much time, money,and patience you blow on fixing it......"If it's got **** or wheels sooner or later, your going to have problems."

 

i wouldnt buy it, the frame is probably damaged also, and even if you fix it, the car wont drive the same ever again
