Hey all, My girl just got a new 06 civic ex. Well its time for the first oil change, I pull her in and pull out the dipstick. I dont see a High or low mark on it. I looks like there is a rectangular cut out with diagonal lines in it that might be the gauge. Ive just never seen a dip stick like that before and there was no info in the owners manual. Can someone tell me how to read this thing, sorry i guess im just used to the old school. Thanks for any help.

 

bottom of the markings =1 qt low
top of the marking = full

 

Thanks for the imput. Do other cars use this style of dip stick cause ive never seen it before. I like the fact that its straight and not all twisted like the one on my caprice. Thanks again for the help
