dip... stick ????

Default dip... stick ????

i pulled my motor out it is a d16z6. the oil dipstick is in the front under the header. the motor i am putting in is a y8. the dip stick is in the oil pump. well i didnt get the dip stick with the y8 block. any chance they are the same??????????

well i got the one out of the z6 block. and i is too small for the opening in the y8 oilpump. i guess i could try an o ring like the stock tube. but also there is not a mounting bracket on the z6 tube. id really like to know for sure they are the same length.

should be able to find one fairly easily at a local junkyard

the civics at the local you pull its are striped. and the local salvage yards won't bother. im still looking for a 5 speed center console.
