Do a good deed!

RE: Do a good deed!
lay down by the car and grab the exhaust just behaind the cat and shake the hell out of it to locate the rattle. (make sure the car is cold) mine had a rattle like that on the factory exhaust because the resonator had rotted and the exhaust pipe inside the resonator had fell out and was just rolling around inside. Like yours, it would only rattle during acceleration. I ended up just tossing the whole system out and ordered my RS*R GTII cat-back.

Okay, i really wish I could describe it better... my girlfriend says it's more of a gurgling in the motor/gears thanit is arattle. It sounds like it is coming from the engine area. Not underneath. I did try to shake the exhaust and didn't hear anything.
Here's what I'll do, tomorrow after work I will make a video in the car while accelerating and put it on youtube then post the link here.I'll let you hear it. It doesn't sound bad like the engine is gonna fall out or something, just a consistent rattle on acceleration. If there is anything else you want to see in the video (within reason ) let me know.

I did the exact same thing when my car was rattling. Tried moving all the shields, none would budge, and spent a retarded amount of time trying to figure out what else it could be.
One of the shields is loose, whether it feels like it or not. So just pull em off. Takes about 15 minutes and you'll never hear that rattle again
