Auto to manual
how much would it cost if i did the work myself? and how much would it cost if i took it to a shop to get professionally done.

IDK either, but if most shops want to charge $1000 or more I'd just say get a fairly new engine swap with the transmission for about $1000-$1500 more.

I think it was somewhere betweeen 1500 and 3000 range. You will need to buy the transmission, the pedals to convert it to manual, and your gonna need to fit the pedals in

 

if that's the case why not just buy a fairly new engine or a rebuilt one with the manual tranny included and you're spending basically the same price lol

 

You still have to install the clutch pedal and hydraulic system, change the shifter lever, and do a little rewiring of the car for the reverse lights and the shift interlock. It would be good to find a parts car to take all the small parts.
