DOHC vs. SOHC

whats the difference? what does it stand for? and if i have an sohc is that bad?

DOHC- Dual OverHead Camshaft SOHC- Single OverHead Camshaft. insted of have 1 camshaft opening and closing both the intake and exhaust valves with the SOHC, the DOHC has 1 camshaft working just the intake and 1 camshaft working the exhaust. SOHC arnt bad, just DOHCs are preferred.

yeah i just figured that out b4 you posted that haha i was looking at it and was like ....double over head cam... single overhead cam... damnit
