I was talking to a honda mechanic one day while i was waiting to have a key made and i asked him if he liked the 06' civic si out on the lot. he said the only reason he didn't like it was because of the drive by wire system because of the delay. Is the trottle delay that noticeably? just curious...

 

Its only a delay because the ecuis trying to time the motor jsut right to go nuts. Its better in the long run but on demand it lags a tad.

 

When I took one for a spin I really didn't think it was THAT bad. I mean you can tell, but its not like the lag on a 70trim turbo or anything
