Ok! Today I try to open the driver door with my key,and it will not unlock the door.I have a 2004 honda civic 1.7L engine.I would appriate if anybody can direct me to the proper repair and precedure.Thank for your time,and hope to hear from somebody.

 

some one might have tried to break in and damaged the lock or jammed it that happened to me once the lock was shot and had to be replaced that could be what happened

Yes!Open from inside.

 

Yeah its probably gonna be something wrong with the lock then.

 

Any idea, on how to take it apart and replace the broken parts.

 

Your probably gonna need a new lock. But to take it out, you need to take off the door panel. Then remove that plastic piece, and you will see the lock behind the door panel.
