Default e-brake light....

within these last 2 days my e-brake light has been coming on sporadically, mostly it seems when i begin to accelerate. most of the time it will go off on its own after a lil while. sometimes if i slightly lift up the e-brake (not enough to where it clicks cuz then the ebrake will make me have an accident haha) and then push it back down it will turn off the light. any ideas of why the e-brake light is coming on?

it also comes on when your brake fluid is low.

I agree. When your car changes speed or direction, momentum shifts and the brake fluid sloshes. The brake fluid is probably low enough to the point where when it sloshes sometimes the sensor reads it as too low.

You should check your brake pads - front and back for wear. Brake fluid displaces wear not unless you have a leak.
