Default eBay Engine Torque Dampener

I bought this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...99558&rd=1 on eBay. I have a 93 Civic DX sedan. I can't figure out where exactly it is designed to go,and I can't figure out which bolts the brackets bolt on to, and it came without instructions.

Any ideas?

A picture or diagram would be great.

tho its different probably beter.... at least the mounting hardware...

looks like they are ment to go from the front drivers strut mounts to the front side motor mount... at least from the looks of those instructions...

well when I bought it I thought I knew where it went. I guess I was right... just when I went to start putting it on it didn't make sense with one of the brackets(the long one). It still doesn't look like it goes on right.

I went outside and gave it another go. Here's what I came up with for the long bracket. This is really the only place it would go. Right in front of the brake master cylinder. But, that leaves me with no where on the engineto put the other bracket. (at least that the dampener will reach)

I found an image online of the same one installed, but it was on a d16z6. I have a d15b7. I tried installing it the same way and it was impossible. It won't bolt to the head like they have picture with the z6. I'm returning it since it was false advertising (it said 92-00 civic (did not state which models)). I'm gonna buy an NRG one

it should be the same.... the ones i seen bolted to the engine mount not the head... just mess around with it.... hell ask the seller for some instructions or ask for a discount/money back if you send him a instaled picture of it.... LOL

same as better motor mounts or motor mount inserts. it decreases wheel hop and tq movement. the good thing about these is that u can pretty easily install them and remove if u want. i cant remember if the NRG one is adjustable dampening but i believe the Ingalls one is. those are useful if u dont want the feeling like the car is going to fall apart due to so much of the motor vibrations being transferred throughout the car. soften it up for street, make it stiffer for racing.
