EF shinanigins.
i am curently the proud owner of a 1988 rust free (almost) canadian hatch.
came with 2 engines. the one that was in it was a d15 a2?
and the engine that came in the hatchback and rode b*tch the whole way home was a almost compleat d15b7
i drove it home from north dakota to minnesota (about 8 hours) the day i bought it.
and when i got it home the tranny puddled out in my garage.
so there it has sat.
i got a daily driver (90 accord haha)
so it wasnt a problem
but with summer coming up and the warm weather ill be in my garage much much more and ill wanna be working on the hatch
ive read all kinda of crap about d15s and how pathetic they are
but wtf man
if you were going to build one of these engines to turbo what one would you pick and how would you go about doing the turbo build.
gimme something
jeez

well in my case, i used the b18. it was my first honda swap so i didnt spend the extra money on the itr [i would suggest it]. its the most common swap so there is alot of after market support. and not to mention the itr stock puts down 170 to the wheel with 91 oct. and the b series engines love boost!

I swear to God, I'm going to pistol whip the next guy who says, "Shenanigans."
LOL. Sorry OP, I couldn't resist.
I'm not too familiar with the d15's, except for the jdm d15b. Maybe look into doing a mini me swap. (putting a vtec head on a non-vtec motor) That should free up a few ponies.

- -OP, yes, we thread jacked, I apologize.- -
** trying to keep it somewhat on topic **
OP, do you have any pictures of the hatch?

ill have pictures and a start on a project thread eventually..
now i had a b18c1 97 hatch, and i have something to say to anyone that says b series swaps are fun.
you are right.
but
like i stated i want to explore the actual power potential of one of the d15 base blocks
im thinking i will end up boosting after a y8 head swap.
what would people suggest on these D blocks lol
