Default Engine Question

**Please don't flame, this is a serious question, and i have taken the time to research what i am asking before i posted. **
Looking into a 97-99 Civic (Coupe) to buy since the Gasoline price is skyrocketing, but i still want to leave some doors open with the car. I researched your FAQ's and stickied threads and i couldn't get the answer i was looking for, so here goes;
In 97-99, Is there a DOHC VTEC engine that comes in a (2 Door) model of the Civic that isn't the Si?

Default RE: Engine Question

the D16Y8andD16Y7 areSOHC. Out of those two the only VTEC one is the D16Y8. All D-series engines are SOHC.

Actually there are DOHC D-Family motors, but they're older designs from the mid 80s to mid 90s.

Here are some DOHC D series motors:
D16Z5
D16A1
D16A3
D16A8
D16A9
ZC
