frozen lock

hey guys hows it going....last night i got outta work...and i tried to unlock my driver side door...but it (the lock)was frozen....so i had to climb from the passenger over....has this happened to anyone before???? any suggestings on getting the thing open? btw its not powered locks....thanks

did you try warm water or de-icer spray?

You'll need to find someone with a warm garage you can use to thaw it out, then when you get it open, spray a bunch of WD40 (or similar) on all the linkage and lock stuff inside the door. Then make sure you operate your door handle lots to work the WD40 in.
