Default Good car covers

My grandpa has a 2010ish Honda Civic and he is paranoid about the sun damaging the paint job. So instead of parking it in a nice convenient spot right in front of his house, he drives it two blocks to a mostly empty government parking lot complex with no security and parks it way in the back, trying to hide it behind some supports. It takes a good 5-7 minutes to walk to and from the car each time. Are there any inexpensive and good car covers I could get him, something that fits easy and quickly, so he can cover the car up from sun damage and leave it where normal people usually leave their cars? I guess it should be easily washable too, since there's a lot of seagull poop flying about.

If you don't want to scratch the paint you can only put a car cover on a car that is 100% clean. If there is any dirt/dust on the car the cover will scratch the paint. I would suggest something like a car canopy to keep the sun off of it.

Where are you located? Is it sunny a lot there?
