hmm not bad, i need to re-do mine again there fading and i never cut the excess..i'll sand next time.

The problem is that it doesn't last very long. The OEM stuff has some kind of rubberized black coat on the trim, whereas this is just paint. If you live anywhere where the sun is often very harsh (for example, I live in FL), you'll end up repainting over and over again and it becomes quite a chore. If you care enough and can afford it even if you have to safe up a little money, it's worth it to just buy new OEM trim or wiper arms (especially the wiper arms, they're only $30 a piece and extremely simple and quick to swap out).

how much are the side trims? my dad's friend had the oem paint for it and he touched up mine. problem is he didn't sand and now it's showing the chrome again..

I'm not sure on the side trims (I don't have them on the side windows, just rubber pieces)... I had to buy a rear one for mine (my rear window rolls down so it has the same thing as your side trim but on the back window) and it was like $60 I believe... but it's also my back window so it's probably twice as long. I wouldn't guess much more than $100 total for trim (the strip at the bottom) for both side windows.
