this is a very pointless post, but i thought i would mentionit to some people who would care. i bought a new set of 205/40R/17 pirelli nero zero summer tires for next year. went from the 215 kumho thought i would get a tire that still fits the rim but not as wide and just get a better quality tire. did that to the tune of $650 but thats installed and free rotations, cause i aint messin with directional tires and my rims. Also sumthin i would never do but came across today is a set of upper strut tower bars/lower for the front and rear to get the civ cornering a bit better. they are a jdm company and very nice. my buddy bought them off ebay for his crx and they shipped him the wrong ones so i bought em off him cause they just so happend to fit my civic. brand new 140 bucks, although it has a c pillar bar too which being in a 4 door i dont need it so i might rekindle 35 bucks. only had time to install the front upper bar, and i must say steering seems a lot more touchy and precise, although my mind might be playing tricks on me. i also wanted to "de-ricify" the civic, so instead of replacing my body kit with another crappy or urethane pricey kit, i decided to go stock oem with a 96 mugen lip to the tune of 265 for both and 300 for paint i wont be installing this though until after winter cuz my messed up one might as well stay on so when i smash into a snow bank o well. pictures are to come of the new tires when i get them shipped in in 2 weeks, and the braces hopefully i'll have them all on the car tomorrow. PEOPLE! i am making this car mine now, not sum ricer crappy thing it may be slow still but its individualized now and i am luvin it

i got the upper rear bar on today, and took my front body kit off to re-fiberglass the damage....the lower front strut bar, where does it bolt too? pictures would help, and rear? wher does it go under the car? i cant seem to see where to mount it

ya i'll post pics tomorrow or sumthin when i dont have to go straight to work from school....but i still need to know where the lower front and rear strut bars will bolt too on my 97lx sedan!!! not sure and stuff

edit:***sorry there called lower tie bars i do believe...how do i install them? pics to come this evening

 

ok, well pictures might be not happen until the weekend now, lol get off school, come home sit for like 10 minutes, and get a phone call from the brother to go swap cars with him. im changin his oil and tire rotation, cause he has no shop anymore since he moved. and man o man his car is quite a car. 2005 nissan altima 3.5 se. chipped with 270 hp. heated leather seats, navi. 245/45/17's....the car hauls ***. i wish my civ could do that, i doubt many can pull the way the altima does without dropping a b18 and turbo. only crappy thing is it is a family sedan with family sedan handling
