OMFG - you should've seen it. I totally smoked a Cobalt SS tonight in my butt-naked stock VX with its spankin' new CAI. There we were lined up at the signal and the light turned green - I had a much better reaction time and shot off like a rocket, and totally smoked him across the intersection.

At that point, he figured out we were racing, and pushed down on his gas pedal - and was gone like that.

But I'm tellin' ya - I'm calling it a victory because I totally pwned him across the intersection. I think I even burped the tires a bit when I dumped the clutch.

I gotta go tell all my buds about this now.

Parody, brother - I completely made that up to illustrate how assinine it is. It should've been obvious, since there is nothing about a '95 stock Honda VX that even remotely resembles a rocket.

I own a full-size Dodge Ram that can smoke its 33" wheels at a standstill and an '01 Grand Prix GT - so I am not wanting for cars that can easily get moving, nor would I look to a Honda to fulfill that desire. The Honda gets 300% better gas mileage than my previous daily driver... trust me - I did not buy it for some dumb-*** dillusions of being successful at street racing.

 

whats up guys me and my buddy dan , race a ss colbalt in a eg hatch from a dig ,the eg hatch has a b16b w/ a t3 t4 turbo and vtec controler we smoked the colbalt at least 6 cars lol none to less i helped the colbalt guy do work to his car hes running 15 pounds of boost but that vtecs a killer muhahahahah! =]

 

if you civic owner's think you can beat a SS/SC that's ok.. but if ya want to see what happens between a civic/integra with a b18 motor and full bolt on's VS. an IRL on a stock tune with intake and factory exhaust except form the resonator back, with lowering spring's, look at my video.. it aint pretty.. 5+ cars as you can see and this retard who got pwned didnt quit, his brother who had an 06 SI and a few mod's did even worse then the integra... even after he got RAPED from a dig, and did no better going the other way on a 20+ roll i jus wish i had it on video.... enjoy the IRL DESTROYING THE INTEGRA....

The other day their was a cobalt ss in front of me. first time I saw one up close. I gotta say the car looks bad ***, I was playing around with him a bit but it was stop and go traffic at stop lights so couldn't see what it's got as far as performance.
