meh. stock about a 14.4 1/4

 

I was just combing forums when i came across this. Now im not trying to bad mouth honda or anything but those of you that say you've beatten a Supercharged cobalt and your stock or close to it are full of bs. Theres no way your stock car beats a supercharged cobalt. Now you know there are 3 models. Theres the LS that has a 2.2 ecotec, a SS that has a 2.4(NON-Supercharged) ecotec and then the SS 2.0(Supercharged). So my guess is some of you saw SS on it and assumed it was supercharged when in fact it wasnt, it just had the body upgrade and badges. Just for some info.

 

I see one story where somebody says they SAW a stock 06 SI beat an SS/SC by a little bit.....maybe beleivable with the newer SI's with K's, but could be B/S. I dont think anyone in the right might would say their stock D series could beat an SS/SC Cobalt

I see where people said a GSR beat a couple of them, a turbo D16y8, a Dodge Avenger, a B20 swap w/ spray, and all of those are beleivable. Both cars have potential, but if an 07 SI was turbocharged, you really think you'd blow it out of the water? 197 hp N/A, versus your 236 hp S/C.....add 100+ horsepower with the boost and then we'll see.....

 

well this kid in an 05 rsx-s was talking some pretty mean **** on ss/sc's we went from a 30 roll and i raped him. like literally several buslenths. i got in his lane to pas traffic. not trying to start ****, just saying. stock for stock thats how it went down.

 

well its Acura/Honda drivers like that that give us a bad name. He should have known his 210 hp N/A (although impressive) won't match a 236 hp supercharged engine. Stock for stock, i beleive thats how it would go down, but if he had the same supercharger you had on his engine, i think it would have been a different story, and thats undeniable

 

oh i dont disagree one bit. but its asses like him that make everybody think honda drivers are ricers. it was funny cause 4 car loads of his friends saw the rapeing.

sure is. i have already seen a couple of people from the balt forums on here being total asses.

 

friend of mine put 6-10 car lenghts on with with his bolt on grand prix gt that went 12.44/118

the cobalt was a stage 2 plus other bolt ons.

the fastest one to date is 12.6 last i heard.
