O1 and up Civic keys have a little RFID chip in em. Yeah your gonna get raped by the dealer ship. If its under $120 be thankful. And Shelle the reason the new keys and fobs are so fat is because of the same darn thing, the chip inside. Its garbage but at least you can rest assured that you will never have your car hotwired and stolen (however flatbedding and drivin away is a whole nother story!!!!) Sorry about the loss of the key man!!!
