head swaps?? gimme an opinion
ok its enevitable that my d16 will eventually need a rebuild and when the time comes id love to do a k20 swap or something but in the meantime. id like to hook up the double cam b16 heads to it as well as intake and exhaust manifold. i was wondering if they fit or if theres a better option maybe? would i have to run a seperate vtec controller or a piggyback or something to deal with having another cam? would it be better to just have the d16 heads ported slightly. im just looking for better flow, more rpms, and higher compression (id replace the pistons and crank and maybe rods if i did a b16 head swap... but the way its lookin id be better off with a b16 engine swap. gah idk what to do. remember thisll be a daily driver. i just need some advice...

well since no one has responded...
if you have a d16...what one? y7, y8?
if you have a y8 leave it. and build the internals.
if you have anything else...put a y8 head on it. along with the y8 intake manifold.
if you want t b16. save your money.
a b16 is a dual over head cam. the d16 you have is a single over head came. and you can not be a dohc head on a sohc block.
soo no you need to figure out what engine you have.
and go from there. let us no and more poeple will be able to help
