Default heater

Just wondering if anyone else has found this to be true... Last May I purchased a new 2007 Civic and am extremely happy with the car, except for one rather minor thing: the heater and fan, As I am in the Northeast, I need the heater this time year and I find that on the low setting the inside of the car doesn't get that warm. I have the dial at about 5 after the hour in order to feel comfortable. Anyone else find this to be the case? My wife's car, a 2004 CRV, has a heater that is warm almost from the get go while mine is not. Is it just a thermostat issue? Thanks!

Check whether the coolant level is low in the reservoir and the radiator when the engine is cold.
