I'm 99% sure this only applies to halogen bulbs.
Though, I would still try not to touch the bulbs anyway.

OP: Don't be surprised if the ballasts go out. eBay generic stuff is known to be hit or miss in terms of quality.

To Stein: Found out the DRL is for canada vehicles, so mines not equipped.

The finger print thing also goes for HID bulbs ..dont touch them they are worse than halogens for popping if you touch em. I was super careful not to touch em.

Got the whole thing off ebay from edixworks or some seller. If they go bad i wont be to upset..ill just buy a good kit and put them in place if i have issues.

hey TD, nice to see you post on my thread, love what your doing with the del sol, and man do ur seats look haawwttt...

i was also having trouble with my 97 civic HIDs...... Only my right HID turns on, my left one only turns on if i either take the ground and rubb it against metal and tighten it there or disconnect the connection from the ballast and connect it back in.....do you know what i can do......its a 1000k its a single bulb it has 2 ballast 2 grounds 1 positive which is connected to the batterie and it has a controller....
