Default help modding '02

alright. i have an 02 EX that i wanna do some modding to. if i'm not mistaken, i read on here somewhere that the D17a2 is the worst engine to mod for risk of blowing up? taking that into account, to what extent should i be able to mod my engine, without spending an *** load of cash, safely? and does anyone know what makes this engine so bad to mod as opposed to other D series engines?

a huge part is it not having a return fuel system.

But i/h/e is good on your car.
Short shifter, coilovers wheels, tires. Theres tons of mods out there, just no altezzas or wings.

lol. hell no. was into the whole show car scene a few years ago. it got old really quick when i realized i would have to spend an *** load just to keep from looking like everyone else who was in the scene and not look rice. gave that up. and wings are the most ridiculous thing ever on a front wheel drive car. however, i am still new at the whole performance modding thing, can you give me a brief explanation on what a fuel return system is? is that like returning unburnt fuel back around for a second go?
