Default hi all new here and need advice

i am purchasing a new 08 civic si seden for my bro he will be the co owner and make his own payment i'm just helping him establish credit
the dealer says there are no cars in the region and they have to order one from honda and it takes about 90 days (is this true)? 2nd question
we getting one with nav and summer tire (without 18in wheel) plus sunroof visor, windo visor for all 4 doors, mud guards, all season floor mats, all season turnk mats, door edge guard, auto dimming mirror, wheel locks, and ipod cable. the dealer we worked with is giving us 25000 out of the door this includes tax tag and fees but from my research i'm looking at price for 24000has anyone gotten all the option witht he price we are looking at? is 25000 a goodprice?

Sounds really good for an 08 si. I just did one on the honda site and it wasnt as specific as you but I believe your bro is getting a good deal.

edmunds.com or kbb.com can price the car out for you. I bought my 07 EX Sedan from my neighbor's dealership. Her numbers and my (edmunds) numbers were nearly identical on what dealer cost (what she charged me) should be. If you get within $500 of cost, you're doing real good. If 08 Si's are flying off lots, you may be paying close to sticker. We got hammered when we bought our Pilot because they couldn't keep them on the lots.

Honda does not discount accessories (spoilers, mud flaps, mats, etc..). The websites will show no discounts for those items. They may sell you the car cheap, but they will get you on the mudflaps and stuff. I would hold off on the accy's and buy them from H and A Accessories. Their prices are well below list., but also well above cost. Maybe someone else here knows a better site.

Depends on the market and the dealer. They may use the fact that they have to order it as an excuse to charge more. If there are none available, why should they sell one cheap to you when someone else is right behind you willing to pay more. I think they get a certain number of "hot" cars, so they want to make every penny they can off the ones they get. Good Luck!
