Honda Civic vs. Subaru Impreza
Idk... yea I'm new to boostin, wen i put the jackson racing in ill prob get a tunable ecu. I was told thats how a car "should" be tuned so i have no clue about that. I'm buyin the sc in aug and it comes with a **** ton of stuff, fmu and such. And also I dnt know much about hondas like everyone else, like the codes ek eg ej things like that I know mines a ej1 or ej6 something like that?
BTW, dyno tunes are very different from street tunes. And if you really want to get into it, you would really want separate tunes for summer/winter etc as the different temps can affect the tune and density of air being used.
I have a question for you. Did you do all that work on the car, or was it purchased with most all of those mods you mentioned previously?

thats true. I didnt know that you could do that with the wrx I was told only go with cobb cuz its ALOT better. ok I didnt know that about fmu so thank you. I'm not being a d*ck here I'm goin goin off of what all of my scooby buddies say.

Like I said, it's cheaper because everyone and their mother makes parts for Civics, they're literally a dime a dozen.
But the results netted by tossing $2000 at a Honda are laughable compared to what that could get you on the better motor in a subaru.

+1. The one variable to determine which car you buy is how much money you have from the start. Preference matters, too, it's not like I am saying money is everything. But I can honestly say, if I had $12000 to spend on a car, I doubt I would start with looking at an EG or EK (or something like that) first.

Everyone in the "car scene" says they'd perfer their old car to a new car, it's simply blind ignorance. I don't doubt for a second that you love your car, because I loved my Civic. But 30 seconds after I left the lot in my new(er) WRX, I knew damn well I'd never **** around with outdated stuff again.
I suppose i'm a tad bit insane. lol.

if your talking wrx or sti the civic will get smoked,no doubt they are faster than the civic,so in a race those subies would win. but if you were to talk looks wise id go with the civic, the subarus(specially the new ones) are soooo damn homely
