Has anyone tried fitting more than one mountain bike in a Civic? If so, how did you fit them in?

 

In my 98 hatch i used to put 2 bikes in the trunk.........but i also did the quick release's to the wheels.

 

two in the back seat maybe two in the trunk with it tied down if u got a bike rack on the roof probably two on that. damn never thought about it but u might be able to get six bikes in a fing civic.

 

i have a coupe and fitted 1 with wheels still on. i use a bike rack that hooks onto the trunk and i can get 2 or 3 bikes on

 

i fit 3/4 of a bike in the truck of a coupe.LOL but i did have a subwoofer box in the trunk but had to push the box forwards ontop of the back seat folded down. thats just because i had to pick my car up from midas before they closed and didnt have anyone to give me a ride to them before they closed.LOL

 

I got a UHaul Hitch installed for $180. Then a 2 bike hitch for $159. Best bike carrier around!

 

I had a bike rack for my trunk, carried 3 bikes. In my sedan, I could carry 1 in the back seat, 2 if I took the passenger seat out. Quick release tires ftw.

 

a buddy of mine fit 2 mtn bikes and a road bike in the trunk of his del sol.... it was pretty funny... had to remove the wheels and loosen the handlebars and rotate them sideways....
i fit 2 mtn bikes in a 4 dr 2002 civic.. on upright behind the front seats and one laid down in the trunk... and yeah, all wheels have to be removed.
