My brother has a 2000 civic sedan, I think the lx. It’s automatic. The motor is bad. He’s in the process of a claim against a repair shop but nothings guaranteed. In the event the repair shop doesn’t cover the repairs we’re wondering how much he could get for it if he sold it as is. It’s in pretty good shape except the engine issue. About 157k miles on it. One shops has already inspected it and said a connecting rod to the piston broke. Any idea of how much he get for it as is?

 

Where is it located? Does it have rust? Is the interior clean or not? You specified pretty much nothing to estimate it, so I'll say $500 unless it's in really good condition. It's at 157k miles, it's got a bad motor, it's a sedan... I'd buy it if the interior was clean.
