Default How much for my civic?

I dont know if this is the right place to ask this, but its my best guess so heres my question. I just saw a 94' black coupe thats got some minor mods. and its for 2500 and would love to get it, but would need to get rid of my 94' civic lx. How much do you think I could get for my current car, with minor rust, but just above the wheels, not to the frame. Of course just a rough estimate

How many miles are on it? Is the 94 an EX trim that you want instead? If it's a manual with EX trim and the car runs good no leaking fluids or burning oil it might be worth it. But I would test drive it first and ask about the repairs done to it and if the timing belt has been changed asweel as the transmission. This is a pretty broad question so it's hard to really say without more info.

Depends on how much rust were talking but you could sell your 94 for $3000-3500.I sold my 95 lx for 3000 with 203k miles on it. No rust though but the paint was ruined from the sun. If the EX is in good condition, with low miles, and a manual I'd drop 2500 on it in a heart beat. But my guess is its got a ton of miles on it. I'd run a car fax on its VIN and see if its been wrecked or salvaged. A car that old you never know...

Check Kelly Blue Book (KBB.com) or NADA websites to get an idea of trade-in, independent sale and retail value of your car.
