My wife complained that the 89 Wagovan we both love did not have the pep that her mom's new Scion had (the scion is a copy of the wagovan's innovative design and styling, imho)

So I bought a header for it on Ebay for $9.99 brand new! Luckily I discovered it is the right type...I also bought a Cold air induction filter for it brand new for $10.00!

With the shipping I will have both home for $100... They advertised 10-16 hp on the header and 10 hp on the Induction system...If I get 15 hp from both I will be very happy.

Told the wife I was going to make the Wagovan a little better on fuel and increase the power so it works better than her mom's new scion...

Paint it and install aluminum wheels over the winter....Gotta look good getting groceries

 

My engine code is B16A2, with the VTEC word bigger than the DOHC word, now some lists say it's 160HP, other say 170HP, depending on the manufacturing country, but I can't tell which one is mine, it's USDM, it's not EDM, also not JDM, it's JHM, what is JHM ?!?!? I read it's Japanese manufactured also, is it true ? the body is EG6, 92 model.

I will appreciate the help for it's been a while I'm searching for the correct answer.

Its hard to tell what kind of motor you have when it is covered in red paint but it looks like you have a 1.6 SOHC NON VTEC
