No, your speedometer will still read correctly, unless you swap in a metric speedo. If you look at your present speedo you'll notice that there are smaller km markings on the inside of the mph markings. The VSS sends a signal that tells the needle where to point, it's not dependant on the units of measure.

B18C5 has 197hp and the B18c has 170hp. It is a myth that JDM engines make more power than USDM ones. That may be ture for a few hp difference but you wont get like 10-15 more hp from a JDM motor. The difference is mostly in the tune Japan doesnt have emmission laws like the US does so they can tune the motor a bit differently. You will only get that extra few hp if you use the JDM ECU. HAve fun with that type R motor I know I would.

It's not a myth, almost every JDM engine makes more power than its USDM counterpart.
And no, it's not just the ECU.
The B18C5 (ITR) has different pistons than the B18C1 (USDM GSR) and i'm pretty sure the head flows better and it has different cams.

Please give me an example where it's just the ECU.

And actually, yes, the ITR engine DOES make 27 more hp than the GSR.

The B18C1 is USDM GSR, and the B18C5 and B18C are both ITR engines but they're slightly different.

All Type R motors have the high compression piston JDM and USDM. and all Type R motors have the better cams. There were a few USDM Integra Trype Rs. There was a write up in an issue of Honda Tuning I read a few years ago on the JDM motors making more power. Like I said they do but only a few extra hp. A JDM B16a and a USDM B16a make the same hp and does the B18c1 and B18c5. There are motors that they only offered in Japan like the ZC 1.6l making 130hp we got the D16a insted.
