I get alot of hell from my friends now that i sold my 2000 civic si and bought this new one, But I needed a car that looks good and has power for the buck. This blows my old civic si away big time. They keep telling me that the new one are not real vtecs but i can feel it when it kicks in, but anyways i'd thought i'd share pics. BTW my name is Rico.

I haven't really put much thought into really, Headers, Catback and short ram air intake, I mean I don't want to mess my warranty up, plus i bought the extended warranty to, so if i put aftermarket parts on it, all it will do is void the warranty.

 

Nice ride, I dig the look of the new Si's. I wish they'd ditch the digital speedo and have a more traditional cluster though.

I found myself driving beside one on the freeway one day and was able to confirm the accuracy of my speedo though

 

Yeah I don't like the speedometer, i constantly have to move my head up or move my hand all the time, either my hand or the steerling wheel is blocking it. But I will manage. lol.

 

Nice, i like the sedan better though.
I see what your friends are saying, i too feel the new civic is lost, but the new K20's are the future....just sucks it harder to get extra HP out of the new Si's then the old Si's.

You don't even know, it's alot faster. You can feel when the vtec engauges alot more, if that makes any sense, to me it's more power than my old 00 civic si. Why do the k20's take so much critisizm for.
