Jesus I feel dumber after reading this bull**** lol. A K20 is twice the engine any B18 is and ever will be. B16's are overrated IMO and H22's can handle boost up to the 270 to 290whp mark.

i dont think the k20 is that much better IMO it is just personal preference. but if you take k24 block k20 head put them together and leave them both stock that is a mean engine. friend has one is an eg6 a 50shot, slicks and a tune by jason from what was stupid fast in houston he was running 11.80s

No your wrong I am swayed by no opinion as i dont even have a honda, the K20 is a square block design, has a better head design, has I-VTEC which makes for a wider tq curve.

That is a bone stock k24 block with a k20 head with nothing more than cams and a tune. Name a b series that will do that. BTW that is on pump gas

As long as anything else when tuned right and kept at a reasonable power level. Plus it is not really all that much of a problem. You can run forged pistons in them as it has been proven that the forged piston is not the problem, it is clearence issue's that you see problems with and that lies in the rings. Weisco makes rings that are compatable with frm sleeves.

I too would say go with the B18 i have a GSR swap and im very happy with it. I also agree with the B16 being over rated. But K20 being twice the engine a B18 will b sounds like BS to me b/c i beat an 02 Si hatch in my 93 GSR swap by like 4 cars
