Default Kill the Check Engine Light

I have a 2001 Honda Civic that I had to replace the transmission in about a year ago. Ever since then the check engine light will come on for a few days, then go out for a few days and then back on. I've had it checked at a Honda dealer and they said it is a transmission error code, I've taken back to the transmission place several times and they say nothing is wrong with the transmission.

So is there some easy way I can just kill the check engine light so that it will no longer come on?

Thanks for any help!

If you really want it off. You can take off the cluster and remove the bulb
