o ya for the 96-00 that is a good idea. you can also do some custom wiring on them so they only work when the cars ignition is turned ON with the key. but most people if they have alarms with keyless entry or factory keyless entry just unplug the switch from the back and leave it that way....

in my blackwidow bx-5 i have i have a back up batterie, but to most theifs who are amature would sit their and try to find kill switch, bein a repo man, i just pop trunk take two tail lights and tie both positives togeather and make alarm take a ****, massive shock to alarm, but for the most part i just hooked it and im gone but sometimes i have no choise to be a *******, and use a dent puller to the ignition =-D

Yeah... there should be a law that if a car thieves kill themself by not knowing the machinery in your car your not accountable. "That 15 amp 50,000 volt live wire was for the oil temp gauge your honor, it's not my fault the thief stuck his finger in it unknowingly" Start by killing the lawyers, then move on to the thieves....
