Default Lip Kit Driving Tips???

Hey,

Well I just got a lip kit (pictures tomorow before anyone asks!) and I have already nicked up the front. Boy am I pissed. I didnt think the curb was there and clunk [:@]. 2 nice corn kernal size nicks off the paint. Ive also scratched the bottom a bit but im not as worried cause you can't see it. Do you guys have any tips for driving with a lip/body kit? Seems like I just have to be extra careful.

well i dont have a lip kit but i have a drop and i can hardly get in and out of my driveway. just take all hills at a huge angle and avoid dips and speedbumps at all costs. and drive across rail road crossings slow and at an angle. and please dont jump your car

Always go over any bump, hill, incline and speed bump one wheel at a time.

Don't hit things with it, that usually helps.

I still think mine's better, that car isn't nearly shiny enough.

I mean, look at this piece of art:

We should make a thread in the p-chop section for pictures of forty's car.

damn you all!!!!![:@][:@][:@]

....i'm counting the days until my car is lowered, even tho i'm sure the jokes will never stop...sons a bishes...

To answer the QUESTION AT HAND.... LIke adelleda and Se7 said, try taking speed bumps and what not one wheel at a time.

Heres an interesting question that just popped into my head.. Ya know those carbon fiber pieces that people put on the bottom of their body kits and lips? (I'll try and find a pic to post) Well, I wonder if they make something liek that in urethane or something so that you don't scuff your kit?

EDIT - heres a pic, best one i could find in a hurry considering i have no idea what the piece is called...

make sure you you no how far the front of your car goes, so when your parking your dont hit it off a curb, its the same thing when you get a exhust and it sticks out a bit, you got to becarful when you backout so you dont squich it and scratch it up..at stock hight i would hit my front bumper somtimes because the way my girlfriends driveway drops..always go on a angle
