Default may be a dumb question

does anyone else have a problem with water getting inside the door? If it's raining and my windows are up I can see water slowly make it's way between the window and window strip/trim. This is also why I bought some baffles for my speakers because sometimes the water will get on or near them, just want to protect them.

Would buying new bottom window trim fix this problem?

the windows slides all the way up. I'm talking about the bottom of the window though. Like if you poured water in the center of the window, you'll see some of it make it's way down inside.

the trim looks ok, no rough spots or obvious gaps, but I was wondering if it should be like this. Would newer stripping help with road noise because after putting in dynomat the drivers side window seems louder when going 55+

You mean inside the door right? not inside the car? thats fine, theres holes on the bottom of the door to let the water out

I'm saying, is water supposed to be making it's way down between the window/window trim?

Because I also have a problem with wind noise from this window.

Cyberx is right. The weatherstripping is not perfect. Some water is expected to leak in, but it will drip out the holes in the bottom of the door. You do need baffles to divert it away from the speakers, especially if they are deeper than the stock speakers.

I don't think this leads to wind noise. That is usually from the top. Make sure the window meets the top edge parallel to the frame as it closes, without leaving a gap at one end. That can be adjusted. Also the noise could be that the door/window frame is not meeting the car properly.

yeah wind noise means something is not closing all the way. Check your weatherstrip all the way around. Mine used to stay open a bit from the front

wind noise is coming from window, towards front of car. And I use baffles on speakers because I had to cut out the door panel to make room for back of speakers and there would be water spots all over it.

New stripping may help but it seems like a fitment issue. Make sure the top of the window sits flush so you know it's aligned right.
