hello guys,im having a problem right now w/ my civic, we are running 45 m/h when i heard something metal sounds at my pipe its between the headers to end of the pipe then all of the sudden the malfunction light turn on.when u pressing the gas pedal youll gonna here the metal shaking,and then it came off to the pipe heres the pic attach. i hope somebody will help me

Thats just your catalytic converter cover, shouldnt be a problem that it came off.

 

i dont feel anything change,but my problem now is that the malfuction light never turn off still on i think its look like a cover.what should i do to so that the malfuction will turn off?is it bad if the catalytic convrter has no cover?should i weld it again so that the malfunction signal will turn off.thanks

 

I would reset the ECU bydisconnecting the battery cable for a minute and see if the light comes back. If it does, you will need pull the code.

 

what do u mean pull the code?
