All dealerships are like that, Honda just has a nastier track record for it. Always do what TrustDestruction's Dad did. That's the only way to get a reasonable price. My parents sat in a room waiting to buy an odyssey, and they were barely coming off the msrp as well. But, they get a little scared when you tell them you're going to go to their competing honda dealership right down the road and see what they have to offer...it usually works.
