I did that to my zteelies. Make sure to sand the wheel down well. Def take the wheel off too. U done want paint on ur brakes and calipers. Gl take pics

 

I painted mine last year, be sure to take them off of you car. I used a wire wheel to remove the rust, and then I hit it with some Rustoleum black spray paint. Did a light coat of paint, let it dry and then hit it with a second coat. Turned out nice.
