I have a 94 dx with stock headlights, and they suck. Wanted to add some fogs for additional light. Anybody used any of the ebay lights.
Was looking at these Ebay Lights

im using no brand ebay fog lights on my civic for 2-3 years now and have no problem with them except one. The glass on one of the fog light has a crack on it. Seems like some has this problem. I do want to switch them out with some raybrig ones on my civic. Look into Depo brand ones i think they might be a little better quality

EDIT: you might want to look into better headlight bulbs. what are you using? I recommend Nokya Cosmic Whites and Phillips X-treme Power (currently using). The cosmic whites are more cool white and the phillips are a little more yellow. If your headlights are yellowed or hazed that affects the output as well. If thats the case try the Mothers Headlight Restoration kit. Never tried it but have heard good stuff about them

I still have the stock bulbs. Was thinking about the Silverstars. I know they helped with our Mazda. Lenses are very clear so that's not an issue.

Better bulbs could help, but the real limiting factor is the size of the headlight housings. I remember how awful they were when I had my 92. Silverstars have a wider beam pattern. You might even look into HIDs.

(sfazngiants, the EG headlights are glass. They don't haze like plastic ones.)

Lenses are glass, but the metallic reflective coating on the plastic back part can degrade. Only cure for that is to replace the housing.

look into HIDs. i live in WI they are illegal here. or put a roof rack on your civic, then mount rally lights to the top, they add a lot of light. jk, my friend did that with a impreza outback. i would upgrade bulbs for sure. as long as your glass is clear if you still dont like the light upgrade. another thing you could try is getting wiper blades for your head lights? that helps right?

Got some Philips 9003XPS2 and installed them. Much better, but I think I need to aim the lights up a little. The light stops after about 80 or 90 feet.

The pics show the new bulb(driver) and the stock bulb(passenger)
